ACCESSIBILITY
Beauty Guidance Should Be Easy to Enjoy
The Everyday Beauty Desk is meant to feel welcoming, useful, and easy to explore. I want every reader to be able to enjoy the beauty guidance shared here, whether they are reading on a phone, tablet, computer, or with assistive technology.
My Approach
I am working to create a site that is clear, readable, and comfortable to use. That includes using thoughtful heading structure, easy-to-read text, meaningful page titles, and images that support the content rather than make it harder to understand.
What I am Working Towards
As this site grows, I will continue to make thoughtful choices around color contrast, readable text, mobile-friendly layouts, descriptive image information, and clear navigation.
I will also review new pages and features with the goal of keeping the experience simple, warm, and easy to return to.
A Note About Visual Content
Beauty is visual, and images can be part of the fun. When an image is important to understanding a guide, I will aim to provide helpful text that describes what is being shown. Decorative images may not always include the same level of description because they are there to support the overall feeling of the page.
Improvements Over Time
Accessibility is an ongoing part of caring for this website. As I learn, add new content, and improve the Everyday Beauty Desk, I will continue making updates that help the site feel more welcoming and usable.
Everyone deserves beauty guidance that feels clear, encouraging, and easy to enjoy.
